WILLIAM "BILL" SEIDMAN DIES @ 88

Former FDIC Chairman and Chief Commentator of CNBC, William "Bill" Seidman passed away today in Albuqurque, New Mexico. Mr. Seidman, 88, was battling an illness for some time.

"Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather devoted himself to education, to the business community, to the service of his country, and most of all to his family and friends," his family said in a prepared statement. "He was an extraordinarily gifted and generous man whose wit and wisdom touched all who knew him. For our family, the loss is immeasurable."

Much respect to you Mr. Seidman. I pray that you and Mr. Russert, along with the rest of the phenomenal men and women who have brought incredible news to Americans for some time. ALL HAIL..
